This is from the first set of ultrasound pictures taken by the Maternal-Fetal Medicine group at Newton-Wellesey Hospital. The ultrasounds are part of the "integrated screening" - they checked the ratios of arm and leg bones, etc. to look for signs of Downs Syndrome and other genetic diseases. They also took a blood sample from Kathy for genetic testing. Luckily, we "passed" the test (tested negative) for most genetic diseases but the risk of Downs was assessed at about 1 in 270 (mostly due to Kathy's age), so a follow up appointment was scheduled for the following month.

Jon says this picture shows that the baby is definitely his - it looks like she is leaning back with one arm behind her head and one arm out with the remote :)
