In April, Kathy decided to try to keep track of how many times we have change Aurora's clothes by photographing Aurora in all her outfits. Why do we need to change her clothes more than once a day? Because of the occasional diaper failure and (more likely) our failure to properly install a new diaper before more pee or poop comes out of Aurora.

You'll notice that Aurora is beginning to fill out her newborn clothes - and even outgrow some of her onesies at this point. At her one month well baby checkup on March 31, 2008, Aurora was 10 pounds, meaning she gained 2.5 pounds during her first month. On April 23, she was 12 pounds and almost 22.5 inches long at her surgical (hernia) follow-up visit. By the next week (April 29, 2008) she was 12.5 pounds and 22.5 inches long. Yep - we have us a chubby wubby baby! No "failure to thrive" happening here!
