We went to check out the Waban Village Day events. Aurora goes on the Pirate Ship and the Tea Cups. On the Tea Cups, the older girl she was paired with kept their cup spinning. Aurora looked a bit green for part of the ride and told us her tummy felt funny afterwards.

May 26, 2012: Butterfly release day. We got caterpillars at the Butterfly Place and watched them grow, make cocoons, and emerge as butterflies. This one was a bit reluctant to leave.

We then met Greer's family for a mini-hike near Hammond Pond. Aurora choose her own hiking outfit. The Babas and the girls climbed up rocks, peered over a cliff, and peeked into a cave. Everyone enjoyed the view on the banks of Hammond Pond.

May 28, 2012: Kathy's Uncle received a distinguished alumni award from Brown University over the weekend. Her cousin Robert and his family came up from Atlanta for the ceremony and we got to spend a day with them. We started out with a tour of Fenway Park. Aurora was quite suspicious of the star attraction, Wally, even refusing to take a picture with him.

We had lunch at The Bleacher Bar, which has a great view onto the field at Fenway.

Then it was off to the Children's Museum. Aurora had a blast with Alex and Ryan, and for several weeks afterwards, kept asking when she could play with her "cousins" again.
